How Weighted Grades Work
Most courses don't treat all assignments equally. Tests may count for 40% of your grade while homework only counts for 10%. A weighted grade calculator multiplies each score by its weight, adds them up, and divides by the total weight to find your overall percentage.
Overall % = Σ(Score × Weight) ÷ Σ(Weights)
